My name's Joel Chandler and I've been coaching for 15 years with more than 14,000 hours of training experience. In that time, I've helped clients of all backgrounds—parents, beginners, traveling career-driven business people, and burned-out lifters—find their way back to a sustainable rhythm with fitness training, food, and themselves.
My clients say I have a gift for meeting people where they are without judgment, understanding them, and telling some interesting parable that helps them move forward.
What brought me to this work wasn't just an interest in fitness—it was a turning point in my own life where I realized change doesn't happen through sheer force of willpower... especially when it came to my mental health. It happens when we start seeing ourselves differently.
My background in anthropology and interest in ancient philosophies opened my eyes to how transformation really works—and fitness became the medium I use to help others experience it on their own.
My goal is to help people build strong, capable bodies—and even stronger self-trust—without becoming overly obsessed with scales or body image.
I help clients cut through the excess noise of fitness culture motifs and industry marketing half-truths to build confidence in their decisions and create habits that don't fall apart when life gets busy. Because let's be honest... that's the way it's going to stay.
My hope is that this guide helps you feel less fatigued by the intense and rigid structure of fitness meal plan culture. In knowing there are options you can actually have if you're in a pinch, I hope this takes some pressure off and aids you in building a stronger connection to what's actually going to work for YOU long-term.
I just want you to know: you don't have to do it perfectly to do it well. This guide is yours to help you make food match more of your real life.
Take it and apply it.
